The Bahia Principe Costa Adeje is set in lovely gardens which are very well maintained (infact there was at least 1 person maintaining them every day)
As the hotel is a bit out of the way this was not a problem as the hotel is so good you would be more than happy to spend the full day there anyway!
The food in the main restaurant is of very good standard and every night there is a different theme for the food which is great!
While the hotel may show as ’24’ hour this is not fully true as you can only get alcohol from 10am until 11:30pm (however, you can get soft drinks from 11pm-7am at the snack bar in the main square)
During the day as well you can have lunch in the buffet restaurant or the snack bar at the pool (where you can get burger, hotdog, chicken burger, chips toasties) or from 1pm for about 2 hours you can also get chicken and pizza
At the hotel, the bars (with exception of the restaurant) the drinks are self service (including the beer)
My room was located in ‘Block 5’ which was approx. 5 min walk from the reception to the room (but was a good walk to work off the booze and food!) and I had room 5211 which looked onto the main pool and you can also see the sea (side view) from the room as well which was lovely, the room its self was very spacious and a large bed.
The one thing I would point out about the hotel room, is the door it was tricky at first to open (I walked back to reception as could not figure it out as they do not tell you!) when you turn the key all the way to the right you have to then pull the door handle towards you and still turning the key which then unlocked the door!
The entertainment team at the hotel are also very good (Carlos is great and very funny!) they do have activities by the pool 6 days a week (they have a day off on Friday) and then there is always music at the lobby bar in the evening and then at the square there is also shows on.
You can hire pool towels at the hotel, a charge of €10 per person is payable for the deposit, you can also rent a safe in the room at €2.50 per day.
If you do arrive at the hotel late at night as I did, you can go to the snack bar at the square where you can get a burger, hotdog, sandwich or crisps (not chips)
There is 2 bars in the square (disco and sports bar) these ARE NOT included in your all inclusive however the prices are not bad and you can get a bottle of beer from €2
The service you get from all staff at the hotel is just so nice and they sure do make you feel welcome as well as that by the end of your holiday you will wish you were there longer!
