Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport
I recently stayed at the hotel for two nights while visiting the NEC for the Dive Show 2014 and had a very comfortable stay.
The hotel was in good order and kept clean with good service from staff in the hotel.
The room was of a good size an I had no issues with this.
The hotel is not a long transfer from the Train Station (around 15-20mins) and is easily reached by a free monorail linking the airport and train station together.
IF you are using the shuttle, a word of warning there is no signage etc where to get it however, there is two small bus shelters located just after the taxi rank outside the train station and this is where the mini-bus will pick you up.
The food and drink was a bit expensive however was of a decent taste and good choice.
I can recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good night sleep and the good thing is that your not disturbed by noise of aircraft due to it being away from the airport.
