So here is my views of Lockdown Week 1.
Now for me, I think it is the right decision for this to be put in place and no supprise.
At the time of writing, I’m still working from my companies office with just 2 other people, with the rest of the workforce working from home. The reason I’m needed to work from home is to allow us to dispatch the items needed for our customers to ensure that our customers can operate smoothly. This has included sending out laptops, extra phones and power supplies to allow out customers to put their business continuity plans in place allowing their workforce to work from home quickly.
Walking to work is very strange, very little people on the streets, very little traffic.
Of course for all the key workers out there, for the NHS you are doing such an important job at such a difficult time, well done! I took part in the Clap for NHS on Thursday as my show of respect for you all.
Now of course, I’m hoping like everyone else we dont have to keep the measures in place for a long time, but at the same time I hope we all keep well and safe.
When I’m not working I am only going out when I need shopping, it is just not worth the risk.
Ask yourself before you walk out the door, do you REALLY need to go out?
The more we can do by following the advice the better.
I will look to give my updates each week as I feel I have enough to say, of course with my own personal views.
