Lockdown – Week 7

Well it’s another week that has now gone and seems strange to think it has been so long!

Today, I actually have a few updates for you all from the past week!

Last week, I didn’t get my bike but hopefully, I should have it by the end of this week fingers crossed.

Now for some exciting news for you all.  I have been thinking for a while now to get back into Volunteering and thought, that now is the time to get started with it, after all, I’m now in my second summer of living in Peterborough and it’s time I do more outside work.

On Wednesday 6th, I had a call back from St Johns Ambulance about being part of their Logistics Team which is rather fitting since I’m a stock controller for my job and I was accepted.  I haven’t yet started with them as there are other bits that they need to do first and as you can imagine they have had an influx of volunteer requests.

It is something I have been wanting to do for a while now, in fact I had looked at joining them last year but regret not doing it.  I hope maybe in the future.

I will be sure to keep you updated with the latest on this and must say I am rather excited to do this and will be very proud to wear their uniform which I am having delivered today!

I have also done some of their e-learning training in preparation to be ready to fully start the volunteering.
