OK, so September has come and gone for a while now and this update is a little later than normal (I just didn’t give myself enough time to actually post an update for you all!)

As you might know from my previous posts, I should have been going to Orlando during September for my big holiday however, due to the travel restrictions this wasn’t possible sadly so I had to cancel the trip fully due ot having no more hope that the holiday would ever happen.

If you remember, back in 2020 I had a staycation and for this year I done the exact same infact, it was only a couple of days before the same days that I done the same trip’s back in 2020!

I started off the time off by going to London to see Josepth and the Technicolour Dreamcoat which stared Alexander Burke and was infact the 2nd last show it was doing in London!

After this, as part of my role with St John Ambulance, I re-opened the face-to-face training sessions for the first time this year which is great for our volunteers allowing them to have refresher training on their vital skills.

Following on from this I then took my trip to London for a day where I enjoyed the London Eye and London Dungeon along with having some lovely food at the Hard Rock Cafe because, well why not I’m on holiday!

The following day, I took a trip over to Legoland Windsor which has turned into a once a year trip now and I just had to check out Flight of the Sky Lion which I must admit was amazing, you can read more about this on my ThemeParkRM website!

Now a trip to the London area since I was already staying in Staines wouldn’t be complete without a trip as you would be able to guess Thorpe Park to check out their Oktoberfest, read more on ThemeParkRM about this trip!

Now if that wasn’t enough just the same as back in 2020, I took a trip to Alton Towers for 2 nights staying this time at the lovely Alton Towers Hotel making the most of their Oktoberfest making it my second trip this year to Alton Towers!

Now you would think that I had enough trips by the end of all of that wouldn’t you?…

Well, I didn’t and I ended up meeting up with my great friend Gareth for a day at… Thorpe Park (yes again!) along with this we went to Chessington World of Adventures for the day aswell which was my only trip there for this year, much like Legoland, I try to do Chessington once a year since it’s not got any ‘big’ rides.

Well, that is all for September apart from plenty of work and volunteering.

As for October, its Fright Nights time so I will be back again at Thorpe Park no doubt!
